Acupuncture works with multiple layers of the body, not just the physical. Though its best known for treating pain, it has a significant impact on the mental-emotional aspects of our life as well.

Through acupuncture we are able to directly impact the subtle nature of the body by influencing the actual frequency and harmonic resonance of the body. When there is a dissonance in frequency, disease arises in the body, mind and heart. However, we can naturally nudge the body back into a state of balance through various activities such as yoga, meditation, acupuncture or the simple act of being in nature. We have all felt the impact the forest has on our mind and body. Acupuncture is very similar in that it seeks to re-establish order to the body, enabling qi and blood to flow without hindrance throughout the body. By doing so, the mind becomes calm, the heart becomes content and the body becomes pain free.
